School Dinners

School dinners encourage a balanced diet making sure that children are given a selection from all the main food groups. As part of the main meal at lunch time, there is always a vegetarian or jacket potato option.  The children may also help themselves to bread and salad.

Both infants and juniors have their school meals in the junior hall along with the junior packed lunches.  The infants eat their packed lunches in the infant hall.

Mark, our chef, is well known for wearing his I-pod while cooking in the kitchen.  He cooks all our school dinners on the premises.
At lunchtime there is a team to help serve the dinners.

Our lunchtime supervisors are an important part of your child’s day. They assist in both the infant and junior dining halls during meal times, which includes setting up tables and clearing up so that the halls can be used for afternoon activities.

Along with that they supervise the children during lunch time play making sure that they are kept safe and assisting the children when they need someone to listen to them or are in need of medical attention. They are also there to facilitate kind behaviour and friendships between the children.

The school could not do without their support!

  Our supervisors are:
in the infants: Joyce, Pauline, Giovanna, and Nathan
in the juniors:  Doreen, Sarah and Admindra

Clubs are held almost every morning of the week and include suc activities as gymnastics, flute, recorder, maths, web-building, newspaper and more.  For more details about these, click on the link.
