How to give to the Governors’ Fund

Ideally we would like to receive a monthly Standing Order from each family; this provides us with a regular income.  Gifts are, however, also welcomed as single donations.  In addition, some families boost their giving by harnessing an employer’s corporate matching scheme; whatever an employee raises for a local charity (such as the Governors’ Fund) is matched by the employer.

If you feel you can start making a regular donation to the school, however small, we would be very grateful; kindly complete the enclosed standing order mandate form.

A form for completion can be downloaded here.

We stress that donations made in this way can be for as little as £10 per month.  Every penny will help to provide the standard of accommodation and resources your child deserves.  Furthermore, tax paying donors can raise an extra £2.80p from the tax man for each £10 they give simply by signing the Gift Aid declaration form; this makes your donation go further.  (Please note that it must be signed by the tax-paying donor, not another family member).

We would like to stress that the school fully appreciates that there are families that cannot afford to give money; giving significant amounts of time to the school s also highly valued.  We (and the SMSA) also welcome fund raising ideas!

On behalf of the children, the staff and the Governors, thank you.
