Kirima

St Michael's School supports Kirima Primay School in Uganda. This school was set up with the help of st Michael's church, and many of our staff and parents also support the school by sponsoring children.

In 2010 an ex St Michael's pupil Leo Henghes visited Kirima school for 3 months during his gap year and helped to teach the children. This is a video he made which gives a flavour of the school and shows some of the wildlife in local national parks.

If you would like to help the school to continue it's vital work in the community then for £150 (or £12.50 a month) you can both feed and educate a child for a year. Find out more about Kirima Primary School and get involved by visitng the Volunteer Uganda website.

We have had the priveledge of having the head teacher and director visiting us this past year, and St Michaels clergy have visited the school in Uganda.
