Tag Rugby
The Year 5 tag rugby team enjoyed an amazing day out at Wembley on Wednesday 3rd December 2008.
Not only did they take part in a mini tournament on the Wembley pitch, but they also stayed on to watch the Barbarians take on the Australians in the first rugby union match ever to be held at the stadium.
The team played two games, winning one game 7 tries to 1, before being on the wrong end of a 7-4 scoreline against a team with a little more experience.
Despite freezing temperatures and some dodgy fish and chips for sale, the children had the experience of a life-time. Some can even tell their grandchildren they once scored at Wembley!!
(19th November) In the first of several new football matches organised against Highgate Primary this year, the Year 3 team were 4-1 winners in a entertaining game at St.Michaels.
Ben scored a magnificent hat-trick with Austin adding a fourth late on! Well done Year 3!!
(26th November 2008) Year 4's followed up the Year 3 success with a 3-2 win against the Year 4 of Highgate.
(10th December 2008) Year 5 continued our 100% record against Highgate Primary with an emphatic 6-2 victory. Joss scored a hat-trick!
(17th December 2008) Year 6 beat Highgate Primary 5-0! Finlay scored 4! Well done team!
Last term year 6 children had the opportunity to take part in a film club. Six films were produced. You can watch them all in the activities / film club area.
