Welcome back to the summer term.

This first half of term our topic will be The British Isles, we feel it is very important for the children to become familiar with their own country. We will be working on understanding our country through maps, including population, major cities, road networks and rivers and mountains.

In art we will be looking at Greek sculptures and pottery. The second half of term we will focus more on Greek history, myths and legends. there will also be our final year trip to the British Museum, date to follow.

For three weeks in May we will be focusing on end of KS1 assessments.
