We run a Touch Typing Club for children in years 5 and 6, which is currently held in St Michael’s School computer suite on Thursdays; morning and after school. Through personal experience we have discovered that some children struggle when they reach secondary school due to the lack of typing skills. We hope to address this with an introduction to touch typing which will include finger placement, row technique, speed and accuracy.  There is also a friendly competion at the end of most sessions.

The Club is run by Mrs Adjei & Ms Dreger.  If you wish to enrole please print out the regisration form and return it to Mrs Adjei [Red class Year 1] with your payment.  Places are offered on a first come first served basis.  A waiting list is in operation as we are limited to 20 spaces per session at the moment.
